WhatsApp to prioritize frequently used emojis
The 2.24.22.16 version of WhatsApp’s Beta app for Android now begins to prioritize the emojis that users most frequently use in the emoji reaction tray. You can see a screenshot of this small but significant change introduced by WhatsApp below.
This new feature makes daily interactions much easier, as you no longer need to open the entire emoji panel to find a specific emoji.
However, if users prefer, they can still access the 6 standard WhatsApp emojis by swiping the selection tray sideways.
By removing the limit on emojis in the reaction tray, WhatsApp is finally enhancing customization on the platform. This update has been a highly requested feature from users in feedback channels for a long time. Although it took some time, the company has finally listened to feedback and brought this improvement to users.
